All joking aside, this year Mr. Clean and I  spent  Valentine's Day at the Ronald McDonald house in Kansas City Missouri.  The Ronald Mcdonald Longfellow house celebrated their 1st anniversary and Proctor and Gamble (P&G) sent me, Mr. Clean and a cleaning crew there.  Not only to did we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Longfellow House, we came on a mission to clean and conquer the dust bunnies in their building! 

P&G sponsored the event and really gave to a great cause.  They hired a cleaning crew to come in and do all the Spring Cleaning at both Ronald McDonald locations, they sponsored a delicious BBQ dinner buffet and they donated cleaning supplies and a $5000 check to them!

Currently the Ronald McDonald House is housing over 60 families at the Longfellow location.  Many of the families stay there while their children are receiving treatment from Children's Mercy Hospital located less than a 1/2 block away.  The Ronald McDonald Longfellow House is a new beautiful facility that embraces families really going through a traumatic time.  Hats off to all of the STAFF at Ronald McDonald they are doing a fantastic job there
